Colleen will be in Quintana Roo Cozumel, Mexico during coral spawning season to collect and propagate endangered corals. She'll be working in collaboration with several passionate Coral Defenders to help corals along in their reproduction by growing healthy corals in the lab, to be transplanted into the ocean and on Zoe - A Living Sea Sculpture. 80 Years of the Nature Lab Living Sea Sculpture is honored to be included in The Nature Lab at RISD Biodesign: From Inspiration to Integration, an exhibition curated in collaboration with William Myers that marks the culmination of our 80th-anniversary celebrations. The exhibition runs from Aug 25—Sept 27 and showcases recent examples of design and art that inform our complex relationship with nature and help us decipher how it may evolve in the future.
